Advisory Board- Jeremy Springhorn

Jeremy P Springhorn, PhD is a biotech chief executive and company builder with more than three decades of experience founding, scaling, and leading life science organizations. Most recently he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Nido Biosciences, a Boston-based neuroscience company he led from early startup through a $60 million financing and into global Phase 2 clinical development. As a Partner in Corporate Development at Flagship Pioneering, Jeremy worked alongside the firm’s venture creation team to build new companies from the ground up, advising founding teams and first-time chief executives on strategy, fundraising, long-range planning, and culture. He earlier served as Chief Business Officer of Syros Pharmaceuticals. Jeremy spent more than twenty years at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, joining as one of its founding scientists and helping build it into an S&P 500 company. He is a co-inventor of Soliris® and led corporate development, executing over $5.5 billion in licensing, partnership, and acquisition transactions. He serves as a Board director for uniQure (NASDAQ: QURE) and NMD Pharma (Private: Denmark), and previously sat on the Board of Advisors to Mythic Therapeutics. Jeremy is currently on the Board of Trustees of Colby College.
